At
52 years of age, Gary Direnfeld is a social worker with more than
26 years of experience working with families, teens and young children.
With a private practice located in Dundas, Ontario, he provides
counseling, mediation, assessment, arbitration and parenting
coordination services on most matters of family life from the comfort of
his home office.
Courts in Ontario, Canada, have deemed Gary an expert on child
development, parent-child relations, marital and family therapy, custody
and access recommendations, social work and an expert at assessing the
work of other assessors. In addition to his private practice, Gary is an
internationally known author with several hundred articles to his credit
and a book, Raising Kids Without Raising Cane. Gary is a regular on
several television and radio shows. He has a parenting column in the
Hamilton Spectator, is quoted in newspapers throughout North America and
is the host of his own reality TV show, "Newlywed, Nearly
Dead".
