Jacqui Vanbetlehem has a Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University, Master of Arts, Social Policy from McMaster University, and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the University of Waterloo. She is a designated capacity assessor with the Ministry of the Attorney General. Prior to establishing her private practice in 1992 she worked in mental health settings, children's agencies and corrections. Jacqui is a member of The Ontario Association of Social Workers, Member of the Ontario College of Registered Social Workers, Member of Family Mediation Canada, and an Accredited Member of Ontario Association of Family Mediators.

Jacqui has been providing individual and family therapy for twenty years. While initially honing her skills as an individual and family therapist, Jacqui identified the individuals and families she worked with experiencing separation and divorce had different needs and required a specialized approach to treatment. Jacqui's completion of the Conflict Resolution Certificate supplemented her years of experience providing individual and family therapy and allowed her to augment her practice through the provision of Mediation, Parenting Coordination, Therapeutic Reunification, Mediation/Arbitration and Custody and Access Assessments. Having completed extensive internships in Mediation and Custody and Access Assessments, Jacqui continues to ensure she is following "best practices" for the services she provides through her participation in the High Conflict Forum and Peer Consultation Group for High Conflict Separation and Divorce.
