Kathleen is committed to finding positive solutions when there is a transition within a relationship or a family. Particular situations call for specific legal approaches and collaborative family law is an effective method to assist clients in reaching an efficient and satisfactory resolution.
Friends and colleagues would agree that Kathleen works collaboratively and is a loyal teammate. She is committed to understanding the complexities of the law, how it has been interpreted in other cases and how it applies to her own clients.
Kathleen has practiced in the area of family, matrimonial and child welfare law since 2011. She is also a trained early neutral consultant and believes that providing people with information is a valuable tool to help reach a resolution.
Prior to practicing exclusively family law, she practiced civil and commercial litigation. In her younger years, Kathleen obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Law School in 2008 where she received several academic awards. Kathleen sits on a number of legal committees in Hamilton and is the current Chair of Wesley Urban Ministries. Outside of office hours, you might find Kathleen jogging in the morning or baking her favourite chocolate chiffon cake recipe.
Kathleen would be pleased to meet with you to discuss the benefits of a collaborative approach in reaching a resolution.
