PROCESS OF ENGAGEMENT

A decision to separate has been made, so what’s next?

Process Steps

Contact any one of our members for a short connection call. They will help direct you to the best next steps. The Collaborative Settlement Process can begin with any of the 3 Professions.

When both partners are ready to proceed the Team is formed, based on the specific needs of the family transitioning into 2 homes.
A Participation Agreement is signed committing to a process without going to Court.

Joint settlement discussion sessions are arranged, and The Professional Team takes you through financial and parenting information gathering, identifying goals, interests and concerns. Through various full and partial team meetings progress is made to reaching mutually acceptable settlement terms. The lawyers draft the Separation Agreement, which is a legally binding, enforceable, and durable contract.
